About Me

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I'm Gerri. I teach business at a public high school outside Birmingham, AL. I've loved business since my own high school days where I took a business class every year (sometimes two), and was an active member of Career Tech Student Organizations.

I carried that love of business with me to college, where I earned a degree in Business Administration.  After a stint in industry, I went back and got a masters degree in Business Education (and later an EdS).  I wanted a career in business, but one where I could be up and moving and learning and growing all the time. I've been teaching Business and Technology for eight years now, and have no doubt that this is EXACTLY what I'm supposed to be doing.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, being outside, traveling, watching Netflix, and spending time with my husband and five-year-old daughter.
